专利说明:

The present invention relates to a packaging for a recording of cigarette paper sheets and cigarette filter paper sheets, the packaging with a first compartment for cigarette paper sheets.
Such packaging is known from US 2010/0270303 A1. The packaging shown consists of a sleeve into which a packaging for cigarette tube paper is glued. At the same time, blocks of cigarette filter paper are attached to the envelope, the individual cigarette filter paper sheets being held together by adhesive.
The cited document is only one of many examples of packaging that contain cigarette paper sheets, cigarette filter paper sheets or both types of sheets. Such packaging is aimed at tobacco consumers who roll their cigarettes themselves. The aim of such packaging is to provide tobacco consumers with at least some of the products in a handy and protected form that are needed to manufacture a cigarette that they have made themselves.
While good solutions already exist for the storage of cigarette paper sheets, this is not the case with cigarette filter paper sheets. In particular, the combined inclusion of cigarette tube paper sheets and cigarette filter paper sheets has not yet been satisfactorily resolved. One of the reasons for this is that the strength of cigarette filter paper is many times higher than that of cigarette tube paper and therefore the same storage and removal concept cannot be chosen as for cigarette tube paper. Today's solution, that cigarette filter paper has to be torn off a large sheet of paper or a block stuck together, is in need of improvement.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an improved packaging for a combined reception of cigarette paper sheets and cigarette filter paper sheets, which eliminates the disadvantages mentioned above.
The object is achieved by a packaging mentioned at the outset, the packaging having a second compartment for cigarette filter paper sheets, the second compartment having an opening which is designed to enable the removal of a cigarette filter paper sheet from the second compartment along a removal direction, and wherein a cross section of the second compartment within the second compartment is larger than a cross section at the opening of the second compartment.
The packaging makes it possible to insert cigarette filter paper sheets bent into the second compartment, the bent parts of the cigarette filter paper sheets coming to lie away from the opening of the second compartment. In particular, the bent-away parts come to rest in the region of the second compartment in which the cross section of the second compartment is larger.
Since the individual cigarette filter paper sheets are preferably bent and are not kinked sharply while damaging or destroying the fiber structure of the paper, a restoring force remains in the individual sheets, which pushes the bent part slightly towards its starting position. This restoring force acts against the inner wall of the second compartment.
If a filter paper sheet is now to be removed, the consumer pulls on the straight part of the top filter paper sheet. If the filter paper sheet is removed along the removal direction, the bent-away part of the filter paper sheet is moved in the direction of the narrower opening of the second compartment. However, due to the low material thickness of the filter paper sheet, which is in particular in the range between 0.15 mm and 0.5 mm, the resulting resistance is actually low. The filter paper sheet bends further during the removal movement and can simply be removed.
[0010] The type of self-locking just explained also has a further advantageous effect. If the consumer accidentally pulls on two or more filter sheets at the same time, the same effect as described above occurs for the top filter sheet. The second filter sheet paper is also subjected to a force due to the movement in the removal direction, which bends the filter sheet paper more together. However, it should be noted that the second filter paper sheet cannot bend as far as the first filter paper sheet, since the first filter paper sheet is in the bending area of the second filter paper sheet. The self-locking which is caused by the second filter paper sheet is therefore somewhat higher than for the first filter paper sheet.
It should also be noted that the consumer directs the force essentially onto the first filter paper sheet during removal, since the second filter paper sheet lies below the first filter paper sheet and therefore generally offers a smaller contact surface than the first filter paper sheet. Overall, this means that the second filter paper sheet offers a somewhat greater resistance when it is pulled out together with the first filter paper sheet and that the consumer applies a greater force in the removal direction to the first filter paper sheet than the second filter paper sheet. The result of this is that the second filter paper sheet remains in the second compartment, whereas the first filter paper sheet can simply be removed.
The effect mentioned increases with the number of filter paper sheets which are arranged in a stack, so that even when the second compartment is turned over, the opening of the second compartment points downwards, even by shaking, no filter paper sheet from the second compartment falls out.
At this point it should be expressly pointed out that the filter paper sheets do not have to be connected to one another in any way. They do not have to be held together in the manner of a sheet of paper or by means of glue or other connecting means. This means that individual filter paper sheets can be removed easily without cracked edges or adhesive residues.
The term cigarette paper or cigarette paper or cigarette paper is to be understood as the type of paper that forms the outer body of the cigarette. The cigarette paper has a transverse extent of usually at least 60 mm and is in particular in the range between 80 mm and 150 mm. It has a thickness of less than 0.1 mm and in particular of the order of about 0.01 mm.
In the context of this invention, the term cigarette filter paper sheet or cigarette filter paper or filter paper is to be understood as the paper from which an approximately cylindrical filter for the cigarette can be rotated. The filter is placed at one end of the cigarette, whereas the remaining part of the cigarette is usually filled with tobacco. The transverse extent of a filter paper is usually below 45 mm and in particular between 15 mm and 35 mm. The longitudinal extent of a filter paper is usually less than 70 mm and in particular in the range between 20 mm and 55 mm. The thickness of the filter paper is usually between 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm and in particular between 0.2 mm and 0.4 mm.
For the purpose of facilitating orientation, terms such as transverse extension, longitudinal extension, height extension, removal direction, etc. are used in the context of this invention. These terms are only used for a simpler understanding of the invention in order to be able to differentiate between different directions and dimensions. However, these terms have no restrictive effect. In particular, the invention and its implementation do not depend on a specific naming. Rather, the different directions and dimensions can also be described differently, as long as the terms are used consistently.
In order to provide a system for orientation for the explanation of the invention, a transverse extension, a longitudinal extension and a vertical extension are defined for the packaging in the closed state. The transverse extent is chosen so that it is greater than or equal to the longitudinal extent. The longitudinal extension is chosen so that it is greater than the vertical extension. In particular, in preferred embodiments of the invention the transverse extension will be at least 50% larger than the longitudinal extension and the longitudinal extension will be at least 50% larger than the vertical extension. In other embodiments, in particular those as shown in the exemplary embodiments, the transverse extent is more than twice as long as the longitudinal extent, and the longitudinal extent is more than twice as great as the vertical extent.
The removal direction is to be understood as the direction along which the consumer pulls the filter paper out of the second compartment. In particular, the longitudinal extension of the filter paper, which is greater than the transverse extension of the filter paper, coincides with the removal direction. Said cross section of the second compartment is to be viewed transversely to the removal direction, in particular at least approximately perpendicular to the removal direction.
It should also be pointed out that the bending angle of the filter paper, that is the angle by which the bent-away part of the filter paper is bent away from the straight-line part, is generally at least 90 °, preferably at least 120 °, particularly preferably at least 135 ° and in particular at least 150 °. Finally, it should be generally pointed out that terms such as "bend", "bent" or "bent over" also include a slight folding, that is, a non-sharp folding. In particular when using paper, cardboard or the like, this should mean that the existing fiber structure is not destroyed.
[0020] This completely solves the problem.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cross section of the second compartment narrows too continuously at least along a portion in the direction of the removal direction towards the opening of the second compartment.
In this way it can be ensured that a filter paper sheet can be easily removed, but at the same time the self-locking described above is present. The continuous narrowing of the second compartment is preferably carried out continuously, that is to say without projections and steps. Based on the longitudinal extent of the second compartment, the length of the continuously narrowing section in preferred embodiments is at least 30%, preferably at least 50%, particularly preferably at least 75% and in particular more than 90%.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a longitudinal section through the second compartment is at least approximately wedge-shaped.
This embodiment of the second compartment is easy to manufacture. In addition, removing a sheet of filter paper is convenient, and accidental removal of multiple filter sheets is effectively prevented. The longitudinal section through the second compartment is to be understood along a plane that is transverse to the transverse extent of the packaging, in particular at least approximately perpendicular to the transverse extent.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a height extension of the second compartment at the opening of the second compartment is less than 85%, preferably less than 75%, particularly preferably less than 65% and in particular less than 50% of a greatest height extension of the second Compartment.
In this embodiment, the resulting self-locking has proven to be advantageous in practical tests.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a longitudinal extent of the second compartment in the removal direction, which coincides with a longitudinal extent of a cigarette filter paper sheet, is less than the total longitudinal extent of the cigarette filter paper sheet.
[0028] This configuration enables the packaging to be designed to be particularly compact and handy. The shortening of the dimensions of the second compartment in the longitudinal direction is another positive effect which is achieved by the larger cross section within the second compartment. This is particularly because, because of the shape of the second compartment, the filter paper can now be bent and thus its effective longitudinal extent can be reduced compared to its actual total longitudinal extent.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first compartment is at least approximately cuboid.
In this embodiment, the cigarette paper can be taken up in a particularly space-saving manner. The specific dimensions of the first compartment preferably correspond to the dimensions for known packaging for cigarette paper, including the packaging that is shown in the aforementioned US 2010/0270303 A1.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first compartment and the second compartment with their respective longitudinal extent and transverse extent facing each other, in particular separated by a common wall which extends in the longitudinal extent and transverse extent.
[0032] This configuration enables the packaging to be of particularly compact construction. In addition, the packaging can be manufactured inexpensively, in particular if the first compartment and the second compartment are separated from one another by a common wall. Regardless of the terms "longitudinal extension" and "transverse extension", it is considered advantageous if the first compartment and the second compartment with their largest surface facing each other.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a transverse extension of the opening of the second compartment is at least twice, in particular at least three times as large as a transverse extension of a cigarette filter paper sheet, so that several stacks, each with a plurality of cigarette filter paper sheets, are arranged next to one another in relation to the removal direction in the second compartment can.
[0034] This configuration enables a compact construction of the packaging. Although the filter paper sheets are to be bent in the sense of the invention, a sufficient number of filter paper sheets can nevertheless be accommodated in the packaging. This is made possible by the fact that the opening of the second compartment is wide enough in transverse direction to accommodate at least two, in particular at least three, stacks next to one another. Depending on the respective geometries of the cigarette tube paper sheets and the cigarette filter paper sheets used, it has turned out to be advantageous in practical tests to preferably arrange at least four and particularly preferably at least five stacks of filter paper next to one another and to select the width of the opening of the second compartment accordingly large.
In a further embodiment of the invention, guide elements are arranged within the second compartment along the removal direction, which are in particular designed like a wall.
This configuration offers a particularly good possibility of arranging several stacks of cigarette filter paper in the second compartment and securing the individual stacks against slipping within the second compartment. If the guide element is designed like a wall, it is not absolutely necessary for the guide element to have the same height extension as the second compartment. Rather, it is sufficient if the guide element has a lower height than the height extension of the second compartment. In certain embodiments, however, it is considered advantageous if the height of the guide element corresponds to the height extension of the second compartment. Finally, it should be pointed out that the end edge of the bent filter paper sheet is preferably closer to the opening of the second compartment than the part of the guide elements which is further from the opening of the second compartment.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the packaging is made of thick paper, cardboard, cardboard, pressed cellulose or glued cellulose.
In this way, the packaging can be manufactured inexpensively and in an environmentally friendly manner. In the sense of a good balance between stability and the ease of processing, it is considered advantageous if a sheet-like material with a specific weight between 90 g / m 2 to 300 g / m 2, preferably between 120 g / m 2 2> and 260 g / m 2, particularly preferably 130 g / m 2 and 230 g / m 2 and in particular between 140 g / m 2 and 200 g / m 2.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the packaging is formed in one piece.
[0040] This configuration is inexpensive to manufacture. An example of a one-piece pattern is shown in the exemplary embodiments.
In a further invention, cigarette filter paper sheets are arranged in the second compartment, each cigarette filter paper sheet having a longitudinal extension and being bent at least approximately transversely to the longitudinal extension and the longitudinal extension being at least approximately parallel to the removal direction.
Such a filled packaging realizes the advantages shown by means of the invention. It is particularly advantageous if cigarette tube paper sheets are arranged in the first compartment, in particular a stack of cigarette tube paper.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a plurality of stacks, each with a plurality of cigarette filter paper sheets, are arranged alongside one another in relation to the removal direction in the second compartment along a transverse extent of the opening of the second compartment.
[0044] This configuration makes it possible to provide a sufficient number of filter sheets without overloading the second compartment with a large stack of filter paper sheets. The distribution of the filter paper over several stacks has the advantage that the effect intended by the invention is particularly good.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cigarette filter paper sheets are bent along their longitudinal extent in a ratio of 1:15 to 1: 1, preferably in a ratio of 1: 7 to 1: 1.3, particularly preferably in a ratio of 1: 4 to 1: 1.7 and in particular in a ratio of 1: 3 to 1: 2.3.
In this embodiment, there is a particularly good effect with regard to the desired self-locking and the explained effect when several filter sheets are accidentally removed.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a plurality of cigarette filter paper sheets form a stack, and the stack is bent over as a whole.
In this embodiment, there is a particularly good effect with regard to the desired self-locking and the explained effect when several filter sheets are accidentally removed.
It goes without saying that the features mentioned above and those yet to be explained below can be used not only in the combination specified in each case, but also in other combinations or on their own without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing and are explained in more detail in the following description. Show it:<tb> Fig. 1 <SEP> a first embodiment of a packaging according to the invention;<tb> Fig. 2 <SEP> a symbolic representation of the space in the second compartment, which is available for a stack of cigarette filter paper;<tb> Fig. 3 <SEP> a second embodiment of the packaging which has a simple lid;<tb> Fig. 4 <SEP> a further view of the second embodiment, wherein a cigarette filter paper sheet and a cigarette tube paper sheet are indicated in each case;<tb> Fig. 5 <SEP> is a greatly enlarged illustration of an embodiment of a stack of cigarette filter paper that is inserted into the second compartment;<tb> Fig. 6 <SEP> a third exemplary embodiment of a packaging which has a double lid; and<tb> Fig. 7 <SEP> shows a pattern for a one-piece design of the packaging.
Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a package 10 for receiving cigarette tube paper sheets 12 and cigarette filter paper sheets 14 (see Fig. 4), the package 10 with a first compartment 16 for cigarette tube paper sheets 12 and a second compartment 18 for cigarette filter paper sheets 14.
The second compartment 18 has an opening 20 which is designed to enable a cigarette filter paper sheet 14 to be removed from the second compartment 18 along a removal direction 22. A special feature of the invention is that a first cross section 34 (see FIG. 2) of the second compartment 18 within the second compartment 18 is larger than a second cross section 36 (see FIG. 2) at the opening 20 of the second compartment 18. This Special features will be clarified later.
1, for easier understanding of the invention, definitions for the different extensions or directions are to be made in the explanation of the exemplary embodiments of the invention. A transverse extension B, a longitudinal extension L and a vertical extension H are defined. It should be noted that these stipulations can also be chosen differently and do not limit the scope of protection with regard to the chosen naming.
The transverse extension B of the opening 20 of the second compartment 18 is at least approximately five times as large as a transverse extension BF (see FIG. 5) of a cigarette filter paper sheet 14, so that a plurality of stacks 24, each with a plurality of cigarette filter paper sheets 14, can be arranged side by side. The term side by side refers to the removal direction 22. In other words, the stacks 24 are arranged along the transverse extent B.
Inside the second compartment 18, guide elements 26 are arranged along the removal direction 22. The guide elements 26 are designed here as walls and divide several sub-compartments within the second compartment 18, here five sub-compartments. The packaging 10 is here made of cardboard and, as is also shown in FIG. 7, is formed in one piece.
In the second compartment 18, cigarette filter paper sheets 14 are arranged, each cigarette filter paper sheet 14 having a longitudinal extension LF (see FIG. 5) and being bent at least approximately transversely to the longitudinal extension LF, as shown in FIG. 5. The longitudinal extent LF is at least approximately parallel to the removal direction 22. There are several cigarette filter paper sheets 14 each in a stack 24, the stack 24 being bent over, see FIG. 5. Along the transverse extent B there are the opening 20 of the second compartment 18 A plurality of stacks 24, each with a plurality of cigarette filter paper sheets 14, are arranged next to one another in the second compartment 18 in relation to the removal direction 22.
Fig. 2 shows a section of the space 38 which the second compartment 18 surrounds. Here only the part of the second compartment 18 is shown, which is provided for receiving a stack of cigarette filter paper sheets 14. In other words, not the entire transverse extension B of the second compartment 18 is shown, but only the part of the transverse extension B that corresponds to a width of a cigarette filter paper sheet 14.
The illustration shows two hatched perspective rectangles, which symbolize a cross section 34, 36 at the respective location of the second compartment 18. These are not concrete walls. It can clearly be seen that the first cross section 34 within the second compartment 18 is larger than the second cross section 36 at the opening 20 of the second compartment 18.
The cross section of the second compartment 18 narrows continuously at least along a portion of the second compartment 18 in the direction of the removal direction 22 towards the opening 20 of the second compartment 18. In the embodiment shown here it can be seen that a longitudinal section through the second compartment 18 is at least approximately wedge-shaped.
It can also be seen that a height extension H1 of the second compartment 18 at the opening 20 of the second compartment 18 is less than 75% of a greatest height extension H2 of the second compartment 18.
The longitudinal extent L of the second compartment 18 in the removal direction 22 is less than the total longitudinal extent LF (see FIG. 5) of the cigarette filter paper sheet 14.
FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of a package 10 which has a simple lid 40. The lid 40 represents an extension in the direction of the longitudinal extent L and extends here along the entire transverse extent B. The lid 40 has a curved region 42 which, in the closed state, encloses the end face 43 of the packaging 10 and thus keeps the lid 40 closed . As a result, both the sleeve paper 12 and the filter paper 14 are protected.
In this illustration, the first compartment 16 can now be better seen, in which the sleeve paper sheets 12 are arranged. The first compartment 16 has at least approximately the shape of a flat cuboid. The opening 19 of the first compartment 16 is also shown.
The first compartment 16 and the second compartment 18 face each other with their respective longitudinal extension L and transverse extension B. 7, the first compartment 16 and the second compartment 18 are separated from one another by a common wall which extends in the longitudinal dimension L and transverse dimension B.
FIG. 4 essentially corresponds to the representation of FIG. 3, the position and shape of an exemplary sleeve paper sheet 12 and a filter paper sheet 14 being shown here by means of dashed lines.
5 shows a stack 24 made up of a plurality of filter paper sheets 14, here five sheets, the stack 24 being bent over as a whole. A stack 24 bent in this manner or a plurality of such stacks 24 are arranged in the second compartment 18. The point at which the stack 24 is bent is indicated by the reference numeral 44. The ratio of the bent part 46 to the remaining part 48 is approximately 1: 3 here.
FIG. 6 shows a second embodiment of a packaging 10, in which, in contrast to the first embodiment according to FIG. 3, the cover 40 has been extended and is now a double cover 40.
FIG. 7 shows a cutting pattern which enables the packaging 10 to be manufactured in one piece. The pattern is bent along the parallel dashed lines and the side parts 50 and 52 are inserted. The guide elements 26 are simply folded up. The area 54 serves as material reinforcement for the curved area 42. It is folded back and thus doubles the material thickness in the curved area 42. Other types of reinforcement are of course also possible.
[0069] The cutting pattern offers a good possibility of realizing a packaging 10 according to the invention. The described advantages of the invention can be understood particularly well on the basis of an actual model. In addition, further advantages and special features of the packaging 10 according to the invention are disclosed on the basis of the model.
